Overview

The, 'Town Tower' was completed in 1450. It offers a fantastic view of the Nordkette mountain range and the Old Town. In earlier times, this view was enjoyed - albeit behind bars - by prisoners who were locked up here. The more romantically inclined among you may wish to make the ascent of the tower between 7p and 11p, the best time to contemplate the surrrounding vista by moonlight, before proceeding to Café Hokuspokus for a, 'Mondgetränk' (moon drink) - included in the entrance price!

Open Hours

Mo to Su from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM

Would recommend to Anyone!by Yahoo | 2006-11-07 01:40:03 |

My kids and I were in Innsbruck Austria in August and we climbed up the steps to the top of the Stadtturm. From the top we had a beautiful view of the city and of the Golden Roof. I would recommend this to anyone in good enough health to handle the 165 steps.
