Addison Awfulby Yahoo | 2007-08-13 23:31:24 |

Staff were more interested in entertaining their friends. That Might have been OK but the 'friends' were neither freindly or particularly interesting! Seems the place is run by the staff and for the staff. Something not quite right here.............. Waste of time and money

Addison House is a paradise well worth the $$$by Yahoo | 2006-01-25 20:02:23 |

If you ever get a chance to travel to the Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island region, I can only HIGHLY recommend a stay at Addison House. A private owned and operated bed & breakfast, you'll feel pampered and rested even after just a short weekend. The house itself is beautifully renovated and the rooms are simply gorgeous - one more exquisite then the next. Breakfast is home made freshly every morning, and you can enjoy it on the terrace or in the dining room. The owners are helpful and friendly - always prepared to make a reservation for you at one of the local restaurants. Best of all: it's within easy walking distance to the main street, which boasts a variety of small shops, eating establishments and galleries. While the high price tag may not be in everyone's monthly budget, I can highly recommend saving it for a special occasion or blowing a chunk of your tax return on this paradise!
