Overview
Although it is an "urban bistro", this restaurant offers elegant Southern gentility, with a candlelit dining room complete with white tablecloths and canvas oil paintings lining the walls. Thus, it is a popular date spot. To complement the atmosphere, classical music plays softly in the background. Outdoor courtyard seating is also available where a fountain bubbles merrily. The eclectic cuisine could be called upscale American, featuring a variety of meat and seafood options, including several varieties of fish and a daily fresh catch. Desserts change daily and there is a full bar.Open Hours

I was told to try it out since i have not been in for months. The menu is new with so many choices. The ladies had chinese cashew chicken salad, and shrimp salad. I had the rack of lamb, included a salad and my colleague had a new york strip. It was great to know that we can eat like men. will be back soon to try the other new menu items. Thanks for the great service Terri and we will be there for the 5 dollar appetizers for happy hour with the whole crew. Rich
I just finished reading a not so good review about Sterlings. I don't really believe that these people were in Sterlings. I have dined in there quite a few times and no matter who has been in there I have been treated in the most professional way. The owner was there. He acted like he knew us as we were one of his regulars. Great food and great service! We will be back!
My wife and I had made reservations for Feb. 15th at 7:30. We arrived and were seated promptly, offered black napkins, and were assured that the waiter would return shortly to tell us about the specials. This was the last time we saw him. The table next to us was obviously friends of the owners or somesuch, as our waiter immediately went over, chatted them up, offered them wine, read the specials (twice), and essentially waited hand and foot while we waited patiently. The table behind us, who was seated a few minutes earlier and also left to languish, actually got up and left before ordering because another random waitress came over and told them "I guess I'll be your waitress, even though you're not my table. No one seems to know what is going on here." Direct quote. We got a similar random waitress who took our dinner order. We were never even offered a chance to look at the wine list. Meanwhile, the "friends" table were on their second bottle. Watching them, we noticed that they were provided with bread and salad before their entrees arrived. We received neither. Their waiter approached them every few minutes to ensure their happiness. Our waitress dropped off our entrees and was not to be seen again until delivering our check. My wife ordered a vegetarian pasta dish that was watery and bland. My "Steak Victor" was tasty, but only because the beef was high-grade. The rest of the dish was unidentifiable. Without hyperbole, this was the single worst dining experience. We would have received better service and food at Outback. If you are not personal friends of the owners, avoid this restaurant and go across the street to Biscotti's instead.
Have been to Sterlings 3 times now...each time service was very good, food was delicious, and the whole experience was most pleasant. I can recommend the Sunday brunch--the atmosphere is reminiscent of the old-time upscale restaurants--with much more reasonable prices. One can carry on a quiet conversation...with a choice of various locations indoors and outdoors (including the gorgeous courtyard). One of the nicest places in Florida!
