Overview

Situated on 120 hectares of land in the east of Jakarta, this unique complex offers visitors with limited time and the opportunity to see all of Indonesia's 27 provinces in an afternoon! The complex features life-sized replicas of traditional architecture from each province, a miniature version of the Indonesian archipelago, a series of museums and a number of well-maintained parks and gardens. The park's centerpiece is a beautiful artificial lake. The complex was the brainchild of Madam Tien Soeharto, the late Indonesian first lady.

A must see - a number one quality for touristsby Yahoo | 2009-08-09 15:33:32 |

This place combined both traditional and modern cultures. A very excellent collaboration, and a good price indeed. But despite the excellent collaboration, I'm starting to worry about the hygenity of each establishments. Still, a good place to visit.

A must see - for anyone who visits Jakartaby Yahoo | 2008-05-21 08:34:26 |

This place showcase nearly all aspects of various cultures in Indonesia from its most western tip to its most eastern province. There is no other park on earth that offers the same theme with such size (250 acres) and commendable quality of work. The fact that it was build in the 1970s shows the vision of the builders. The park showcase the traditional houses from each provinces in its actual size, the traditional clothes, animals, musics, dances, houses of worships, various museums, 3D theatre, 4D theatre, Kid's Palace, gardens of various flowers, garden of herbal medicine, etc.etc.etc. It is a place that everyone who comes to Jakarta must visit to get a one-day (or one-week) introduction to the diverse Indonesia.

This is a must see if you are a new visitor to the Islands. It gives a good overview of history and culture for each province. The prices are reasonable for a tourist attraction. Take your friends and family! You won't regret it!

i actually love the place since it showed the whole indonesia in its miniature splendor. Make sure to have the whole day to go around the place to fully enjoy and appreciate the culture and sights. Don't forget to bring your bottled water on your trip.

Indonesia Downsizedby Yahoo | 2006-09-12 15:54:17 |

A place where you can see the culture of all indonesia provinces. Of course in miniature size. There's also "Keong Mas", a 3D theatre with wide screen. Recommended if you want to know indonesia from the culture side of it.

The maintainance of this place is considered terrible , but i still guide some foreigners to this place but from 5 persons i have brought, there are about 3 who were not satisfied about this place. The idea of this place is great actually but the cleanliness is not too good. Oh ya, the good thing from this area is Museum Purna Bakti Pertiwi, which contains the gifts for the second president

Good Tourist Placeby Yahoo | 2005-02-12 08:25:47 |

This place brought all the provinces of Indonesia into one place. Of course for an American the value was great I believe only about $2 or $3 dollars got you in. Nice lake to sit around. Some of the park was closed the day I went so I didn't get to see all of it.

This is one of the best places to visit in Indonesia. I loved it. I wish I could have spent more time there.
