Very Cool Hole in the Wall in Jerusalemby Yahoo | 2006-02-10 14:00:45 |

Tmol Shilshom is such a cool hidden spot in Jerusalem. My sister showed it to me, because she had been living in Jerusalem, otherwise I never would have found it. It's like a really cool library-cafe, very European, built into an ancient stone building, with cafe tables, candles, relaxing quiet music, and the walls all have bookshelves built into them that are full of books. Most people come there to for coffee with their friend and some have their laptops popped open too - which is so great to see the contrast of this quaint euro-style reading nook with the MAC laptops of the 21st century! Open all day and late at night, great for a rainy or cold day. The food is incredible, the staff speak English, and they have 2 completely separate rooms, one for smoking, one for non. You won't want to leave Tmol Shilshom and you'll never forget it either.
