We have no regrets about using The Ruins, it is a lovely location and I will recommend it to anyone, as a matter of fact we have been already. The food was excellent....it was absolutely delicious, not to mention the service that was offered, and Mr. thompson for being on the floor at the reception was truly magnificent. All of my guests were impressed with the service and the food, and of course the venue. I fell in love with it from the first time I visited and knew right there and then this is the place for my event. At first I was having doubts about my choice of venue, it was a case of misinformation, but let's forget about that. The staff was pleasant and served us well, particularly the elderly gentleman who served the headtable, he served us with a beautiful smile. My cousin keeps harping on The Ruins as her reception site and how good the food was....oh please give the chef our compliments. We only hope that this exemplary service will continue for a long time and that every bride and groom receives it and appreciates it. Keep up the good work and your venue will get more rave reviews and many more weddings. Thank you all once again and we'll be visiting the restaurant when we come home.

Attended a church function (50th Anniversary) catered on property October 31 . Banqueting staff was very helpful and accommodative. Function was well executed. Food excellent and reasonably priced. All service staff were helpful. Atmosphere and ambience was good. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Ruins.

I celebrated a 50th birthday party at the Ruins at the Falls in September 2008. The views were the most breathtaking I have ever experienced. The service was first class. We were a large party of 50 people. Some of the party were vegetarian, others had other dietary requirements. The staff were able to cater for all our needs and did this with outmost efficiency. Our waiter and other staff members were extremely accommodating, the food was excellent, could not be faulted. If you want to dine in style with the best ambience ever then I would recommend The Ruins at the Falls. Where else can you eat, with a backdrop of the most wonderful waterfalls, a must for the photo album or camcorder. I had my wedding at The Ruins at the Falls in November 2008, the customer service and attitude of the management is unprofessional and poor. They messed up on their part in providing me with enough staffing for my wedding and the staffs that were there were either too busy or too lazy to attend to my guest.My wedding was scheduled to start at 3pm and they gave my decorator the venue at 3pm for my 3pm wedding among other mishaps which is too much for me to get into. I would never recommend this place to anyone to have their wedding. If anyone is thinking of doing any form of function at The Ruins PLEASE have them put everything in writng before you go ahead with them.

My sister recently had her wedding in Ochos Rios and had rented out Ruins for thr reeception. Her contract for the location was from 6pm until 1am. At 10:30 the waitstaff began removing table clothes from tables and then folding up chairs and tables!!!! What better way to chase out my sisters guests then to do this!!!!! The location is nice, but the customer service is ridiculous! STAY AWAY FROM THE RUINS FOR WEDDINGS!!!

The Only restaurant in Ocho Rios that offer excellent chinese and jamaican food. Good value for money and definately will be back. Also service are the best in Jamaica. Good job well done!!

Eat at the Ruins at the Falls is a must do in Ocho Rios. This is a great buffut, excellent food and all you can eat and drink. The falls are beautiful and the staff is great. Best place to eat in town.

WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE,NOT ONLY DO YOU GET GOOD JAMAICAN FOOD BUT VERY FRIENDLY WAITERS AT YOUR SERVICE AND AN AMZING VIEW OF THE WATER FALL, i had my wedding reception there last year if your planning to go to ocho rios it s a must to have just a drink here,you ll want to stay all nite.
