For more than 25 years, the Chalet has offered the public professional and friendly service, not to mention the delicious Swiss cuisine. Sporting a charming ambience, most of the furniture here is made of Alpine. There is also a lounge area that is perfect for a quiet drink, before or after dining. The subtle lighting adds a touch of romance. The specialties include air-dried beef with melon and the veal and mushroom in cream sauce. For a more straight forward option, choose something from the range of grill items prepared at the table. A commendable wine list includes choices from France and the New World.

The fact that the people working here have been with the establishment from god-knows-when defines "goodwill". The food may not be all that great at times - which we put down to a variance of consistency - but nevertheless, their signature dishes won't disappoint. The crepe-suz is never a let down. The service, great, as always.

I was taken here by some German clients. They say its authentic swiss food. Tasted good, though a bit pricey for my tastes.
