Overview

These fishing piers were created and are maintained by the State of Kuwait. They are very strongly made from concrete, and stretch about 15 meters into the Arabian Gulf. They are always busy during the weekend, and whenever the weather is fine. Fishing is often a family outing here in Kuwait, especially during the weekend. Don't forget to bring all your own equipment with you because there is no fishing store nearby. Even if you don't go for the fishing, the pier is great for a seaside promenade. There is an asphalt path if you do not care to get your feet sandy, and the path is studded with street lights, so it is well lit.
