we loved the place, excellent beach,swiming pool,rooms were ist class,so was the atmosphere.we also enjoyed the complimentery breakfast.

After a rocky start with room availability, the service offered in all areas of this resort was fantastic. Everybody was friendly and got things organised very promptly. Yes the resort is a bit dated, but it has character and the pool area is great. Excellent childrens pool. Heaps of space to swim and heaps of sun loungers. Great location, service and Value.

I've been here with my family twice ( very long time ago )...i like it here only becoz they have indoor ladies pool...but the rooms look rather shabby with old furnitures,worn curtain and bedspread and torn wallpaper.... the lobby looks too ordinary...i think they need to redecorate and create a more vibrant and cheerful atmosphere. Otherwise the service is good...the staff are friendly...the beach is clean.

Our family have stayed at Holiday Villa Langkawi three times in the last 7 years. We returned because the beach was nice and safe for children to swim and the swimming pool was large. Our recent visit was totally disappointing with cochroaches found in the two rooms that we stayed. The bathrooms were smelly and we suspected a drain and pipe blockage due to lack of maintenance. The blankets were not covered and there was only an undersheet so all guests basically use the same blankets which do not appear to have been washed every time a guest checks out. Staff were slow in responding to complaint and good in pushing the responsibility around like when you complain to the reception about the cockroaches and the smelly bathroom, the housekeeping maid arrived after 45 minutes with a toilet brush and a trolley to clean, which was a complete put off of a start of a holiday. For us, it is time to move on from Holiday Villa, it is sad to see the hotel go down in quality so badly.

We have just had the most magnificent Holiday at HOliday villa Langkawi. Staff very helpful and went out of their way to correct minor things that we reported. Wonderful location, exceptionally clean, lovely beach and great watersports. what more can anyone ask for!!

it is a nice place for holiday!! trully beach.. wow... fantastic guys... i get my satisfaction for service, the room was clean and have a nice view... never forget the time that i spend there... keep it up!!

Visited June 2003 fantastic hotel, brilliant staff can't fault it MALAYSIA IS SO FRIENDLY DON'T MEET PEOPLE LIKE THESE IN U.K. NOTHING IS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THEM
