Pulau Payar is home to the Pulau Payar Marine Park and Langkawi Coral. Measuring just two kilometers long and 250 meters wide, the island's best feature is its diverse marine life. The water is so sparkling clear that you can see the myriad coral flowers on the seabed from the surface. Facilities include hiking trails, gazebos, picnic tables, barbecue pits and restrooms. The area is accessible by a 45—minute ferry trip from Kuah. You need to book one day in advance.
