Bachelor Partyby Yahoo | 2008-04-29 21:46:16 |

I guess it really shouldn't matter what my accommodations were like as I was the Bachelor! This place is far away from anything other than the Hard Rock. Limo's and Cabs were hard to grab on the busy street out front. Walking to your room is another thing! It took FOREVER to walk back to my room. Around three different pools if my "memory" serves me correct. I will stay somewhere closer to town next time!

Fabulous Stayby Yahoo | 2008-03-24 22:32:29 |

My Husband and I stayed at Alexis Park Resort for our 5th Anniversary. It was wonderful. The staff were very courteous, and welcomed us very warmly. They made us feel like we were at home. They had remembered that it was our anniversary from when my husband told the reservations agent. That made everything special. The rooms were wonderful, very cozy, clean, and neat. We didn't watch much TV, but it was very nice accomodations. There was a jacuzzi in our unit, and for a great price as well. I very strongly recommend this resort to anyone who wants to be away from the strip at night, but close enough to the action that they can walk to play. A

Great Suitesby Yahoo | 2008-03-14 22:41:57 |

We stayed in the split level. Was a great room. Bottom had a small kitchenette, half-bath and living area. Half way up the stairs (stairs go up and turn halfway up with a landing) there was a hot tub-very nice. Up the rest of the stairs a king bed with a push button fireplace which can be seen from the hot tub. The bathroom was great. Big shower for two, a shower head on each side.

We loved it!by Yahoo | 2008-03-09 03:06:05 |

My husband and I stayed two nights and had a suite with an upstairs bedroom and bath, a jetted tub on the landing and a LR/kitchenette on the first floor. The price was very reasonable and we loved it! Our stay was in August, and LV is very hot at that time-there was a problem with the cooling upstairs..we called and the maintenance man was there in about five minutes to fix it. The pool was wonderful, the gardens are pretty and everyone from the front desk people to the lifeguard and the bartender were very friendly and nice. We enjoy the casinos, but would rather stay in a non-casino hotel-much more relaxed and family oriented. We're going back next week and cant wait!

Horrible Serviceby Yahoo | 2008-02-19 21:09:15 |

The longer we stayed the more they lost our rating! It is a conveniant location, across from the Hard Rock. But past that....that was about it. First our thermostat was broken. They came to replace it and it was still broken; we were either frozen or sweating. We had friends stay here and relatives too. Three people were staying in one room and needed to use the fold out couch. It had no sheets or blankets. There were none in the closet. We started calling at 10:30pm - EVERY 1/2 hour. They said they were bringing some and never showed up. At 12:30am we demended to talk to the manager and he confessed that they had no sheets, blankets or towels left!!! Someone finally showed up with a pillow and blanket around 1am. When they asked to be compensated they were rudely told that they booked on Hotels.com and got a reduced rate, so there was no way they were going to get a discount for the hell they were put through. The hot tub in the upgraded suite is a small Barrel tub on the landing 1/2 way up the stairs to the loft. It's a joke!

Wow!by Yahoo | 2008-02-17 05:46:25 |

I travel frequently and prefer to stay off the strip at non-gaming hotels. I stayed at Alexis this past week after a 3 month hiatus and I must say, WOW! It was nice before, quiet, large suites....I learned they have gone through a management change and it shows! The entire hotel was busy! The rooms were immaculate, the staff was incredibly helpful and the food is wonderful! Try the room service pizza.... The suite I was in this time was larger than my first apartment out of college and the price can't be beat!

Good all roundby Yahoo | 2007-11-21 00:50:30 |

I went to a seminar being held here and was concerned when I read some of the reviews. I couldn't have been more pleased. Yes, the rooms are old but they are spacious with everything you need. The staff were very helpful. When I couldn't figure out the remote for the air-conditioning they sent someone within 10-minutes. I have stayed in hotels the world over and I would definitely return.

Stay Away, Far, Far, Awayby Yahoo | 2007-11-04 20:39:12 |

We made our reservations in advance, requesting a king room, was charged one night on our credit card. When we got there we had to chose between a queen or two doubles. The management, when you could find them, were not helpful at all. The tv was blurry, trying to use the internet was impossible. Our advise is to STAY AWAY from Alexis Park.

Stay away!!by Yahoo | 2007-11-01 06:42:18 |

We had confirmed reservations at this place. They oversold and shipped us off to a lesser hotel far from the Strip. Management is rude (if you can find them). Stay away from Alexis unless you like to have your convention or vacation ruined by these people.

Not at all happyby Yahoo | 2007-10-22 17:24:48 |

We had planned a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate my Aunts 65th birthday. We made our reservation for the Alexis Park Resort Hotel 3 weeks prior to departure date and when we arrived we were tole they over booked and they were giving us a refund and moving us to a different hotel. We were a little upset, but didnt want to ruin the trip so we said ok and went to the new hotel. It was a DUNP, we didnt feel like it would be a safe place to stay and we wouldent even get out of our cars. It was so close to the airport that our window would shake on the car when the planes flew over. We had to call around and find another room at 3:30 on a saturday afternoon in Vegas, not a great time. I did look at the reviews for this hotel and saw that they were mixed but I wanted to give then benefit of the doubt, it wont happen again.
