Bugsy Siegel once owned a piece of El Cortez Hotel Casino before building the Flamingo Hotel on the Strip. This structure retains much of its original look and atmosphere from the early 1940s. In the older section of the hotel, guests will still find the tile showers from days gone-by. Now, there is a new section in the thoroughly modern and comfortable hotel tower. Since the Fremont Street Experience was built, this hotel is in a very good location, just a short block from the entrance.
