Overview

Unique in a city filled with golf courses, this par-71, 6,810-yard course offers a 'country club for a day' experience at fairly reasonable rates. The greens are impeccably manicured, fast and tight. Desert Pines Golf Club also features a lighted, two-tiered, climate-controlled practice center with automated ball-teeing system and state-of-the-art instruction bays. There are also complete banquet and meeting facilities for post-tournament events, meetings or parties.

The course was in ideal condition and as nice a course as I have played. The staff was great and lunch in the clubhouse was excellent at a reasonable price. We played two days and the only drawbacks we could find were slow play (5 hours first day, 4.50 second) and the ponds are pretty gross, but they were use very effectivly.

We went to Desert Pines in Las Vegas for a nice round of golf- the course was in great shape fairways and tee boxes were very well kept-greens were in transition, but even still in good shape- The course is tight, and water on 9 of 18 holes makes it a great challenge! Really a nice course and great staff.
