ok rides but not so great rides. not so kind workers giving free rides to their friends cutting in long lines (seen so many times) crappy games
This park is located in a very crime-ridden area of Vegas. I live here and have family in Metro...gangs frequent the adventuredome on all days/nights. As for the rides, they are entertaining and would keep kids amused for a few hours. Do not leave your kids unattended though, since crime is high here.
The live act was okay (unicycle performer), otherwise just about as crappy as my local county fair midway. Took my four small children to kill an evening. I spent a fortune in quarters and they were still disappointed (..well, they enjoyed the live act). The buffet meal in the restaurant was excellent.
You'll pay full bore for rides that don't work (they'll apologize but charge you full ticket), and they are the ones you want to go on. You wait in line for 45 minutes to see an old, tired SpongeBob, and stand in a long line for a broken car ride like Universal City. The youthful employees are nice but they are sick of the same ole' same ole' activity. There are HUNDREDS of junky 25 cent to 2 dollar machines to bring in more revenues, and there is a $7.00 waste of a bungy jump for kids. PLEASE, GIVE ME A BREAK...JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THROW IT IN THE STREET AND WATCH PEOPLE RUN FOR IT BECAUSE IT'LL GIVE YOU MORE PLEASURE THAN THIS USELESS WASTE OF TIME.
I wanted to check this out since it was one of the attractions on the power pass i purchased. The adventuredome was crowded I had an all day pass but only opted to ride two of the rides, long lines but it was June and the beginning of summer break so I figured that was to be expected. I am not a big fan of crowds, so if you are willing to spend a whole day there then this would not be too bad! It it were not for the power pass I probably would not have checked it out.
After reserving our room for 4 nights; I went on-line to read reviews. My husband & I were afraid we made a mistake booking a room there. After a 3 hour flight we arrived at Circus Circus. The check -in was only about 30 minutes. The employees were VERY HELPFUL & FRIENDLY. We got to our room and it was spotless. We stayed in the tower above check-in. We do not have kids; but we enjoyed all the kids around us. Families were there to have FUN. We ate at the buffet and the food was very good. We also ate at the place that is open 24 hours a day. The food was great. We ate at the Italian place on the 2nd floor - VERY GOOD FOOD & very friendly help. We find that if you are friendly to people - they will be friendly back to you. We parked our rental car in the open parking. Very well kept, plenty of lighting & no trash around the area. We will stay at the Circus Circus next visit, as I have learned that people who write bad reviews are complainers and would complain if everything was perfect. Thank you for such a good stay. My only wish is they had coffee makers in the rooms. Walls are a little thin, as if you are on different schedules than your next door occupants, just turn the fan on high.
I disliked the uncleanliness because if you have kids they are really just more likely to getspread germs and get sick,it just makes you feel unclean they definately need to keep it more clean.
We went one afternoon and the place was like a ghost town. Only a few people even there and they were shady at best. Not a good part of the strip and very run down. Do not take your kids here. It has gotten ten time worse in the last 10 years. We went back in 1998 and it had lots of people and was a lot of fun, but it is totally different now. Don't waste your time, there is so much other fun stuff to do in vegas.
