Overview

Encompassing Fremont Street in the center of downtown Las Vegas is a light and musical show like none other in the world. A permanent canopy has been constructed to cover the casino-lined street with two million lights and a state-of-the-art sound system. This USD70 million attraction provides shows in the evening hours and is a popular area for filming motion picture scenes. There is no charge for entrance except for their New Year's Eve Street Bash. The special shows projected on the canopy ceiling last for approximately seven minutes.

Open Hours

Wonderful Place to Hang Out and Enjoy Las Vegasby Yahoo | 2010-02-21 06:01:48 |

Fremont Street is a great place to stay and play. The casinos are very close together, the odds are better and food prices lower. Plus you get the Fremont Street Experience which includes incredible light and sound shows, live bands, and other entertainment--all in a safe and clean environment.

    Good Timeby Yahoo | 2010-02-12 03:09:11 |

Been to Vegas three times; went downtown the second time and had a great time. Going this May again and plan to extend our downtown adventure.

Ok i know that allot of you dont like the old part of vegas cause it is old. well i happen to think it is about twenty times as much fun as the strip and also so not ridiculous priced as the strip i have stayed at the nice fancy hotels why the only time you in youre room is to pass out vegas is to party and this is the place

    Fremont Experienceby Yahoo | 2010-01-31 14:35:39 |

I have been to Vegas twice before. Once with 2 gf's and once with my husband. Both times we stayed on the strip. We went to downtown and to the Fremont experience and wish we had stayed in the downtown area. It was great. The old town atmosphere, everything is closer together and it was just a better feel. We are going back for our 10th anniversary and Valentine's Day, 2010 and plan on staying in El Cortez. The first hotel there, originally owned by Bugsy Seigal! Can't wait!

I love Freemont. I have been there two other times and will be going back in March. I look forward to going to see the light show and most of all people watch.

First time on Fremont Streetby Yahoo | 2009-10-17 09:53:42 |

I came here for my 21st birthday with my parents. We went to fremont street to check it out and meet up with some other relatives. This was the only place I won money so therefore my favorite place. Me and my mom also took pole dance lessons at Pole Worx which was a blast.

    First Time in Vegas & Fremont Streetby Yahoo | 2009-10-16 00:18:41 |

Of the many highlights of Vegas, Fremont Street was one of the best. The light show & music was great. We loved the little shops on Fremont Street. Very good meal at the Bay CIty DIner in the Golden Gate Hotel. Fremont is a definite must see when in Vegas. * * * * * H Smith

    Thanks, But No Thanks-Couldn't Wait to Leave!by Yahoo | 2009-10-15 19:23:53 |

This place was dirty. It's the only place I have ever been where there are hundreds of elderly folks hooked up to oxegyn tanks while smoking cigarettes (yikes!). And the "showgirls" looked like they worked the main strip about twenty years ago. The few hotels I entered smelled stale, the souvenier shops were dusty and one that I went into smelled like a toilet. The light show was OK but not a big deal. And the bus to get there took you through some very scary parts of town. Call me a HOTEL SNOB if you like, but give me the MGM any day of the week. At least there I felt safe!!!!! I am heading to LV next week and will be @ the Mirage. I have no plans to visit Fremont Street (unless I am forceable dragged kicking and screaming).
