I was married on August 9, 2008 and I thank my lucky stars that I was in a great mood all day until arriving at the chapel to see about 6 wedding parties waiting outside, no parking anywhere near, and our guests had to wait outside (in 105 degree scorching sun) for 45 minutes after the time our wedding was supposed to begin. They advertise that the bridal parties will be given a room to relax, change clothes, put on makeup, etc. Except the problem is they double booked the entire day and we were told the changing room was “under construction”. No it wasn’t, it was that they double booked the day and were not able to escort so many brides and parties in and out of these rooms so they just locked them up. Not very professional, especially since it is advertised on their website and is part of the package you pay for on your, supposedly, special day. So picture me, having to change into my beautiful wedding gown by placing it onto the public bathroom floor before stepping into it (mostly naked) in the NON-air-conditioned public bathroom, nearly fainting due to the heat, stress and nervousness. The girls who worked the counter were absolutely rude and completely un-sympathetic. We couldn’t get anyone to answer how long we and our wedding party were expected to wait. My maid of honor attempted to escort me into a side room to get away from the hustle and bustle of all the parties checking in (about 1 every 5 minutes) and one of the counter girls very rudely stated: “That is our private break room and you are not allowed into it!” So I stood in my dress, veil and frown in front of the only air conditioner I could find, right next to the check-in counter while the “break” room went unused the entire time. Wow. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere – or getting married on a weekday, the chapel is cute, the minister was nice and the photos turned out wonderfully – but intimate it was absolutely NOT. There was no where to take pictures with your family outside as you were surrounded by about 100 people waiting their turn. It was crazy, I can laugh at it now but it was so not what I had in mind. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy!
They were very helpful. I liked the fact that they are a church. The ceremony was very dignified and the minister was fantastic. We were married within 4 hours of making the booking. The photos were great, the flowers were perfect. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to get married in Vegas. I can not speak more highly of their services.
We got married in July 1993 and it's breathtaking. We can fall in love over and over again. We'd like our 2 children to see the place someday. It was a very small ceremony, both our families weren't there but it was solemn and took our promises at our heart. We've been together for 14 years now. We celebrated our 10th year on a Mexican Riviera Cruise. We plan to renew our vows next year. We love the place and we definitely recommend the church to people who would like their wedding worth remembering. Best Wishes!
We were married in the Chapel on the 7th June 2007 and it exceeded our expectations. The minister was fantastic and the whole atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this Chapel to anyone who is planning on getting married in Las Vegas.
Everything was perfect for our wedding. We felt as if the staff and minister were family, the flowers were beauitful the pictures turned out great as did the dvd. The setting was lovely you seemed miles away from the glitter and noise of Las Vegas even tho you were only a mile or so away from the strip.
We were just recently married at the Chapel. The Chapel itself was very pretty. Decorated beautifully. The staff was friendly and helpful. The video is too dark and murky, though. It looks like a spy cam. They were unable to play, on their equipment, a CD I had made by some friends that are professional singers. So, if you take your own music, also take a CD player. The pictures are great. Bill and Randy
We were married on Feb 21, 2005 at the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas. From the moment we saw the church on the way to the Hotel we knew that was going to be the one we would get married in. It was just lovely. From the ladies helping us get ready to the minister. We are going back in 2007 for our 2nd anniversary and plan to stop by the church and show other family members who were not able to be there the first time. It was well worth it.
I loved it. Very charming but affordable. This is Vegas folks. You can't expect these chapels to be the church in your home town. They schedule the weddings close together and keep you moving through. But, the flowers were lovely, the chapel is so quaint compared to the others in town. It was very rustic. The minister was just perfect. Be cafeful if you rent a limo, you could have a longer wait when you get there. Overall I give it a 4.5
The minister was absolutely wonderful. He said some beautiful things about love and commitment, and acted like he knew each of us personally. He wasn't hurried or rushed at all. Some of our guests were running late, and the chapel staff let us push our wedding back by about 30 minutes so that everyone could be there. Everyone was very accomodating, and the chapel is beautiful. It looks like a tiny little dollhouse, but our 25 guests fit with no problem at all. We hope to renew our vows there someday in the future.
