Outstanding Base of Operationsby Yahoo | 2005-09-16 18:37:09 |

Harrogate is small enough to allow a more quaint feel for the northern areas of England, but large enough to have great resources. There are numerous restraunts, and no one should leave Harrogate without visiting Betty's Tea Room. Harrogate is also very centrally located in the UK (just 3 1/2-4 hours to either London or Edinburgh), so it is a great central base of operations for any other excursions to other places in the UK. Harrogate is also within 45 min drive to fantastic walled city of York with the York Minster Cathedral and about 30 mins from the National Armoury in Leeds. Add to that, the fact that this place is situated next to two National Parks, prehistoric rock formations (Brimham Rocks), several beautiful caves, and more. A definitely place to see!!!

Oh no not againby Yahoo | 2005-07-31 16:19:58 |

It was so unbelievably boring, unless you want to see another pump room, which is very much like (i.e. exactly the same as) any other pump room, including would you believe it, yes, pumps! Not for those extroverts even though the people were very friendly.
