Overview

Leipzig is known for its Book Fair, one of the biggest in the world and thus, it is no coincidence that it is home to the Deutsches Buch- und Schriftmuseum. The exhibition features a stunning selection of books, including many unique and priceless pieces, as well as a section dealing with the history of printing and of paper manufacturing. Guided tours in English can be arranged by appointment.
