Overview

The University of Limerick is home to approximately 10,000 people, studying a range of subjects including business, education, engineering, humanities, science and electronics. It offers a wide choice of courses in the arts and science stream at its green and attractive campus on the Shannon. The campus itself offers meeting facilities catering for up to 1,000 people. It has a built concert hall which hosts a variety of events throughout the year. There is a superb sports and leisure complex which includes an indoor swimming pool. The University is in close proximity to local golf courses, a rugby pitch and other sporting venues. There is a variety of bar and restaurant facilities. The University also features displays of fine artwork.
