Overview

Museu da Marioneta is a small museum that was founded by artists purely out of the love for the art of puppetry. The museum houses approximately 500 puppets from all over the world. In addition to Portuguese puppets and the history of this art form, you can also view puppets from Burma, Bali, China, Belgium, and Great Britain, amongst other places. There are usually performances over the weekends.
