Overview

Constructed in 1652 near the old chapel, and dedicated to São Sebastião, this mother church perfectly combines the maneirista and baroque styles of architecture. Some of the paintings inside are attributed to Jerónimo Silva. It's placed in a high part of the street; so it seems like the church is separated from almost everything else.
