Weekend retreatby Yahoo | 2008-10-21 21:13:09 |

My family stayed at this hotel for a quiet weekend. The staff gave us free transportation to downtown and to the mall whenever we asked for it. The hotel just finished a renovation and it looks fabulous. The front desk always had a smile on their face. The hotel was very worth the money we spent and I would definately recommend it to others.

Hurricane Evacuees Bewareby Yahoo | 2008-09-05 14:31:08 |

t was just a horrible! . The staff was unpleasant and unfriendly! The staff at the breakfast buffet was very unsanitary. I spoke to he general manager he really wasn't listening he tried to rush me off. However I'm sure he had a talk with the staff one of them in particular a gentleman cut his eyes at us each he saw us on that day. We had several complaints that were not addressed! I given a lower rate and charged a higher rate! It ashamed for someone to take advantage of what already a bad situation. It's bad enough to be evacuating from a hurricane and then to be treated so badly after travelling for hours..And believe if you have never been a hurricane evacuee get on your knees and thank God! Travelling could take up to 18 or more hours. And not only concern about the treatment but also the overcharging knowing what the situation was. Not to mention that the rate charged was not the one quoted. And of course I tried to talk to the general manger of course he is unavailable. The staff once again was unfriendly Stay at your own risk!!!! Buyer Beware!!!!!

Don't Even Stay Hereby Yahoo | 2006-07-24 22:22:07 |

This hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. Don't waste your money on this one. It is in need of a MAJOR overhaul. The hotel lacks any decent type of service. The hotel shuttle is a mini-van that you have to call for. If a driver is available they will come pick you up, if no one is available then you have to wait until it is available. They have no real bell clerk. The bell clerk is also the shuttle driver, so depending on how busy that person is will be the determining factor. The desk staff was just OK. My family's first night there was HORRIBLE! We were given a rom right above the pool area and could not sleep for all the noise from the loud pool area and the atrium echos like crazy. We had to call the front desk TWICE to no avail. The next morning I called the desk to ask for a new room, but was told there were none available. I told the clerk I was gonna check out! By the time I got down to the desk they had FOUND me a room on the other end of the hotel where it was quiet. So, I exchanged keys, but then found out I had to move our bags myself. So I had to get the luggage cart myself and move 11 bags from the 2nd floor yellow side to the 3rd floor red side.I struggled, but got it all done BY MYSELF! The restaurant is LOUSY! The food is not bad, but it lacks service and only 2 waitresses. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our food. We ordered french fries and a baked potato with our meal. We requetsed ketchup to be given a couple of ketchup packets and the same for the butter on the baked potato! We never ate their again. I was wondering why it was not crowded and I found out why! Save yourself the agony and skip this hotel. It was NOT worth the $100 night we paid, although we had free Clinton Library tickets. The mattresses were very old and saggy. Mom ended up sleeping on the floor. The window in our second room was cracked, so I had to keep my 2 kids (ages 3 ad 4) away from that also. I was never so glad to check out of a place in my life!

Convenient location! Close to airport, not too far from Downtown Little Rock. Hotel is too old, room is out of date, but people are nice!

Great Place to Stayby Yahoo | 2004-12-03 12:08:34 |

The staff was kind and attentive. They let us check in early. Gave us one of the best rooms overlooking Little Rock. It was clean and quiet. Bobbiesox Nightclub located in the hotel was awesome!!
