If the humid Arkansas heat gets you down, cool off at Wild River Country water park. The park offers everything from the Lightning Bolt: —a wild ride down a straight slide: —to the Lazy River, a pool for inner tubers that winds around the park's center. Young children can play in the special Tad Pool area. Refreshment stands are located throughout the park.

NASTY NASTY NASTYby Yahoo | 2008-06-05 16:48:04 |

It was just nasty, the restrooms the decks, the walkways and the water, all nasty. not many people there when we went, so the lines moved fast. season pass are 100.00 which I feel is way to much for 6 silds and an oversized pool. Magic springs passes are only 49.99 we get passes evey summer, you get a big water park, that is clean, rids, lots of fun free concerts, free drinks and sunscreen. add it all up magic springs is the way to go......

i enjoyed myselfby Yahoo | 2007-10-09 16:21:16 |

well seeing that it was my first time to wild river country. i enjoyed myself. i stayed there for about 6 hrs... i loved the rides, we rode every one in the park..i cant say too much about the prices seeing that i got in on a season pass. it was alot of people running around but what do you expect, the lines were moving at a regular pace....i will be returning to wild river country once im back in little rock. but i also recommend you bring some friends...being by yourself isent too much fun.

Will not be backby Yahoo | 2007-08-05 19:02:36 |

We were very excited when entering Wild River Country. However the excitement quickly wore off. The place was filthy. The water was dirty, and the concrete pathways were equally gross. It was crowded, but the staff lacked the management skills required to run the park efficiently. It seemed like after you paid your admission, no one really seemed to care what happened to you. There were no tubes and if you wanted one; you had to wait in a very long line just to get one ( and this is per ride). It was ridiculous; when we went to purchase a rental tube; they said they were not renting to anyone else. My husband and I felt like if they were above a capacity where there was not enough equipment for the guests then the guests should have been informed at the admission gate. Anyway we had paid our hefty admission and just basically stood there with our children waitng and waiting for a tube so we could stand in another long line to ride the 20 second ride. To break it down; after a 30 minute wait for a double tube then you went to the ride line for a 10-15 minute wait and then you get to ride the 20 second ride. After all of that so called fun, we went to the wave pool. It was disgusting!!!. It was infested with hair and bandaids and dirt and grass. We felt like we needed to take a bath in lysol before we could go home---yes it was that gross. Just thought you should know---My family and I will not be returning.

It was fun and all but, it cost too much money for what little they have to offer over all. In addition, with the they did have they were too specific as to the appropriate age and type of ride it was for. For example, you are into fast rides, only a third of the rides were appropriate. If you had very small kids, only one small area was good for that age group. Even though you could very easily ride every slid and uses every pool in a single trip, you would never want to. This place too expensive for what they have to offer. They charge the same price as if they are one of the big water parks in California or Florida, but don't have nearly as many rides. Even the food is outrageously expensive and take way to long to get threw the line to get. If you are really into swimming, and really would want to go often, I would suggest buying a season pass, rather then going once or twice. They are about the price of 2 to 3 trips. A pass allows you to go for only a few hours after work two or three times a week all summer. You won

Once is never enoughby Yahoo | 2007-03-21 18:38:11 |

This place is the best and you can never have too much fun or adventures. I have personally experienced every inch of the place and itis safe, fun, and the best of the best. If you have never been there before you are missing out!!!!! There is absoluely nothing wong ith the entire water park. When you take a child with you, you will never get them out. So once you go there make sure you buy a season pass because you will want to go there when you have any second of an oppurtunity. This next statement is a true fact not an opinion, THIS WATER PARK IS THE BEST OF ALL THE WATER PARK IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alot of fun for the kids and me tooby Yahoo | 2006-07-23 02:41:00 |

It was alot of fun for the entire family and my wife had fun as well. The staff were great and always available and helpful with our questions. The tubes should be free for the price we paid but so should the current gas prices. The park was clean and the burgers and hot dogs were good! Look forward to our next visit..

Good Family Funby Yahoo | 2005-06-26 16:21:59 |

WRC is a smoke free, alcohol free, family friendly place. I've gone multiple times in the 5 years I've lived in the area and have never been disappointed. It's not cheap... but few things are these days. Having to rent a tube for the wave pool is rediculous, but being able to bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy just outside the park helps with cost. The rides are excellent. I tend to outlast my kids!

It was Fun and not too crowded!!by Yahoo | 2005-05-25 18:07:14 |

I think that it is fun to be able to go to a place where its not hard to get around. its nothing like a florida park but for little rock its nice to have somewhere where you can take your kids to have fun. It could use a little work but it always takes time and they are getting better every year Thank You

Save your money--put in a pool.by Yahoo | 2005-03-30 02:29:27 |

It is this simple. This place is way too expensive for what they have to offer. They charge the same price as if they are one of the bigger water parks in Florida, but don't offer half of the rides, etc. I'd say it is pretty typical of Little Rock overall. Something local trying to immitate a larger success.

Loud and Rowdyby Yahoo | 2005-03-04 20:13:09 |

Wild River Country is definitely not the place to go for a leisure, relaxing day in the sun. There are too many children in the wave pool, and not enough staff on hand to control the rowdiness.
