Easily recognisable by the famous naked statue—known locally as Dicky Lewis—above the main entrance, this large store is situated opposite the Britannia Adelphi Hotel. The range of goods includes men, women and children's clothing, electrical goods, perfume, cosmetics, furniture, and an interesting array of collectibles in the gift department. On the ground floor, the delicatessen stocks an excellent range of cheeses, cooked meat, salami and a delicious selection of freshly baked bread. A small cafe is situated on the first floor.

I liked the whole layout of the store it has a lot of history also the staff are very helpfull and will go out of their way to help you also it has a great atmosphere.

THE STAFF WERE SO HELP FULL AND FRENDLY IT WAS THE BEST GROTTO I HAVE EVER SEEN THE KIDS LOVED IT . AND WE CAME AWAY WHIT SOME REAL BARGAINS.

I like Lewis's as it has a Hiostory and is Trying to make it big the store is Owned by Owen Owen and they have added 3 new stores making them 4 times as big in 1 year Stores in the group are:- Joplings In Sunderland Robbs of Hexham Lewis's Liverpool Esslemont & Macintosh Aberdeen This show has Great savings and is now geting refurbished
