Overview
Housing enthralling collections of everything from ethnography to musical instruments this is a truly fascinating experience. In addition, the museum also offers an exciting glimpse into the threatened underwater world in the Living Waters Aquarium, where visitors can see a rich variety of creatures in pond, lake and sea environments. The Horniman Gardens complete the list of attractions. Originally part of Frederick Horniman's home, the Gardens have plenty to offer the visitor. During the summer months there are numerous concerts held, with children's entertainments for younger visitors. Admission to the museum & gardens is free.

Amazing quirky museum
I took my 3 kids all under 10 and they loved the gardens, playing the musical instruments but most of all the fantastic aquarium. What a surprise hidden away in the basement. Too much to see in 1 day. Did'nt dislike anything as all the staff seemed helpful but sometimes none around.
