Overview

As the restaurant of the swanky Metropolitan Hotel, it's no surprise that this is one of London's hottest venues and will burn a hole in your pocket if you're not careful. It seemed that only stars stood a chance of securing a table among these minimalist walls, but it's getting easier nowadays. The cuisine is a creative blend of Japanese and South American, courtesy of chef and co-owner Matsuhisa Nobu, whose first restaurant was in Peru. There's excellent sake, a fantastic wine list and great cocktails.

Hip Bliss in Japanese Cuisineby Yahoo | 2007-01-19 11:19:22 |

Save your pounds and make your reservations for this outstanding Japanese restaurant. The Blackened Cod is a must. We went as two families with three children (9-13). The food offered has variety and wide-ranging flavours n textures to appeal to all. Outstanding service - the staff were particularly helpful and attentive to the children. Loved the hip, lively environment not often found in London - but often seen in NYC. The perfect dining experience!
