Regent's Park offers a variety of facilities and amenities for the public to enjoy, including tennis courts, a bandstand, an open air theatre, elegant gardens and children's playgrounds. London Zoo is just next-door. A short walk away is Primrose Hill, a popular neighbourhood that's popular with young and trendy families, actors, artists and other media folk. It is particularly steep and offers numerous hip bars and restaurants and a superb panorama of the London skyline. Queen Mary's Gardens is located within the park, and St. John's Wood Church Gardens is also nearby, offering an additional tranquil retreat off of Wellington Road.

Regent's Park is such a wonderful park. When I was there, it was raining, but I still found it beautiful, nonetheless. If you're in London and want a nice walk around one of the most beautiful parks in the city, this is something you should not miss.

Amazing Parkby Yahoo | 2005-11-24 08:00:05 |

I attended Regent's College for a summer and often walked through Regent's Park during my stay in London. It is quite impressive with beautiful flowers, waterfowl, and many walkways. This park is perfect for a romantic stroll or a place to just relax. I recommend bringing a good book and spending a few hours just enjoying the scenery on a nice day.
