This chic bar in Atwater Village attracts a lot of hipsters and celebrities. The building first opened as a bar in the 1940's and changed names several times until it became the current establishment in 1974. It is extremely popular with the Hollywood crowd because of the cheap alcohol and friendly, neighborhood atmosphere. The jukebox plays tunes from the '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s and there are comfortable lounge chairs strewn about where people like to kick back and relax with a drink.
