Yoga is becoming more and more popular every day, and sometimes it is easy to lose sight of its basis and philosophy. Earth's power yoga is the best yoga I have done. It has completely transformed me. I used to live in the gym with little results and after I found Steven Earth's power yoga my body began to look the way that I always hoped it would. The studio is clean and light filled, the teachers are friendly and knowledgeable and the studio is totally unpretentious. I love this studio and would be lost with out it.
This unassuming yoga studio is in a mini mall on Fairfax. Don't let the setting fool you, this is one of the best yoga classes anywhere. The studio is clean and simple, I have taken classes with both Steven and Liz and they are amazing teachers. Steven explains everything and his approach comes from a physical therapy back ground, while Liz also gives an insane workout with the best abs sequence! I almost didn't want to write this review & keep the place as my secret. It has changed my life here in L.A., the people who run it are great & it attracts really good, serious people.. No mirrors or competitive vibe.
This yoga studio is that very best that I have been too. I get a great workout along with all the mind, body and spirit benefits from practicing yoga.
I popped into a class from Steven when I was passing through LA. It was there I became enlightened. Great classes.... Just great...
Steven Earth is one of the best teachers I've ever practiced Yoga with. His voice is calm and soothing but his classes kick ass! Really it's a great workout (you will be sweating) yet you will leave there with a sense of inner bliss. I have tried a lot of Yoga studios in LA and I always come back to Earth's Power Yoga - plus it's by donation so you don't have to shell out $20 if you can't afford it this week.
