This museum visit is a must!by Yahoo | 2008-11-04 20:48:14 |

I have been to the museum in DC and WOW very impressive! The LA museum is a smaller museum with enough information for the school groups to get the message. I very much enjoyed listening to Holocaust Victim. The story he told was amazing. The parking garage was nice benefit for a visitor since parking is a problem in the area. What I did not like was the rudeness of visitors with ringing cell phones and text messaging while the speaker was speaking and thru out the museum. The users of cell phones were not children or teens they were adults whom should know better. While going thru security I guess they did not realize that usage of cell phones were prohibited. Sandy

Cant' wait to go back!by Yahoo | 2007-06-03 14:56:44 |

There was nothing to dislike about. It's history, and good learning experience once you come out from there. I feel you need to humble yourself for so many reasons and most of it comes from this museum.

oh my god!!!!by Yahoo | 2007-05-31 22:36:11 |

Great Experienceby Yahoo | 2007-04-28 11:49:30 |

It was our first time to see this museum and I think it was a great experience to learn how the Jews experienced hardship to survive.

I'm going to visit again!by Yahoo | 2007-04-19 07:00:18 |

I have been to this museum twice in highschool, and for me it has been a very touching and sentimental experience. This museum is great for people to go visit and see what life actually was like before and how lucky we are to know that we now have rights. You should think about life twice after you go visit the museum of tolerance!

It's the Lectures!by Yahoo | 2007-03-12 09:22:14 |

It's been about 5 years since I've visited the museum. I view its impact as nearly overwhelming. I have thought about it over and over. I found it more profoud, personally, than the Yad Vashem Holocaust museum in Jerusalem (although that one is awesome too - its perspective is different). But the most outstanding part was the lecture. Don't miss the lecture! Phone ahead and find out when they're having one. I listened to a woman who was a young girl who went through several camps including Auschwitz and Treblinka. Her entire family was killed immediately upon arrival. Afterwards I was able to go up and talk with her personally. It was truly humbling.

My awakingby Yahoo | 2006-12-13 16:39:14 |

This place was a real eye opener. It helps you look back into the past and understand the torment these people had to live through. It was awful to watch but beneficial to all.

Thought provokingby Yahoo | 2006-11-02 14:33:18 |

I came to the Museum of Tolerance as part of teacher training through the Los Angeles Unified School District. Be prepared to laugh and cry, to be shocked, outraged. This is an amazing exhibit that should be viewed be everyone, regardless of race or religion.

beautiful!by Yahoo | 2006-10-27 19:53:43 |

I did like everything about it,the most interesting was that elie the old man was really a survivor at the holocaust.I can't believe.the other thing was that a lot of people died. The concentration camp were horrible.Ireally want to go back..
