The Galley place is proud to be the oldest restaurant and bar in Santa Monica. Its loyal clientele ensures that it should hold on to that title for quite some time. The dark, New England seafaring motif may make you think you've landed on Cape Cod. Favorite dishes are the famous steamed clams in a bucket, seafood pasta, salads and the jumbo porterhouse steak served on a a plank. A bottle of wine here is reasonable and there is a full bar as well. Call ahead for hours.
