Overview

While the skyline of Hollywood is largely unspectacular, Capitol Records Building is one of the few exceptions. At the urging of label artists Nat King Cole and Johnny Mercer, this 13-story building was built in 1954 as the highly successful record label's headquarters, near the fabled Hollywood and Vine intersection. A mural at the building's southern face pays tribute to some of its jazz greats including Nat King Cole and Billie Holiday while a flashing light at the top of the building spells out "H-O-L-L-Y-W-O-O-D" to passing aircraft. The building is still the headquarters of Capitol Records, and no tours are given at this time.

Trojan Virus Found in the Capitol Records CDby Yahoo | 2008-11-11 21:19:10 |

!!! Trojan Virus Found in the Capitol Records' Enigma "Seven Lives Many Faces" (2008) Music CD !!! Bought ENIGMA “Seven Lives Many Faces” (2008) CD in Walmart on Nov. 10, 2008. On Nov. 11, 2008 placed the CD into my computer and got an AVG Anti-Virus program warning that it found a Trojan Horse Downloader.Generic8.BGR in the CD’s EnigmaStarter.exe. I did not even listen to this CD, because it has a virus and also because it just WILL NOT PLAY ON ANY COMPUTER NO MATTER WHAT! Walmart did not show any interest in informing their consumers about this problem after I called them. Also they won't take my CD back, because I opened it! Yet it's USELESS! It does not play and has a VIRUS in it! By the way, is anyone interested in a class action lawsuit against Capitol Records? It is best to submit class action lawsuits in state courts (as opposed to federal). I’m in South Carolina. Here’s another proof of the problem (in French): http://www.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-9337130-enigmastarter-exe P.S. I tried to find their phone number on their website.... to no avail... then foun d the phone number somehow on the internet in a public forum. Called them, was put in a endless circle, finally got through to just find out that their operator is unavailable..... I never in my life did any illegal activity towards music industry and I feel sorry I ever spent a single $1 on CDs. Not anymore!

they don't give tours and if you stand in front of the door too long someone will come out and tell you to stop loitering. really makes you feel unwanted.
