After hours of talking to the CS they were unable to admit us to the park due to purchasing tickets on orbitz!! They could not verify our purchase even though we had a printed proof of purchase. finally the police intervened and we got into the park! The slides were not maintained well and we had bleeding raspberries and rashes all over. The water was stinky and we felt dirty. Plus a few pending lawsuits. No wonder! We would not recommend visiting Hurricane Harbor. Keep your family away from this place!

Our kids were really excited about visiting this water park - the first we've been to since moving to LA. What a complete waste of a day not to mention the money it cost us to get in. It started with the 20 minute walk from the car park (up hill) in the blazing sun - should have turned back at that point! We waited in line for the ONLY girl on the turnstiles to check out tickets. We waited in line to get a locker. We waited in line to get our lunch (unless they can fry it the don't serve it....). We waited to try and find a sun bed in the shade that wasn't occupied by a towel but mostly we waited and waited in the ridiculously long lines to get on the three second rides which were fairly disappointing. After so much waiting for the four rides we managed to actually go down (real good value per ride then!) we decided to leave and guess what - we waited in line for the tram to take us down to the car park - well, halfway to the car park, lets not get carried away. A rubbish day out and totally not worth the money.

Unless it is cold out this park is a waste of money. Managed to get onto one waterslide. It was a 45 minute wait in the blazing sun. The lazy river was packed with innertubes such that it was too difficult to move. There were far too many people for the size of the park. All that was available to use was the pools and even these were packed. Could have used a pool for about a tenth of the cost of this place.

You think that with all the money the park makes they could provide a little shade for all the long lines they make you wait in. I mean there could be only 3 people in front of you and you wait forever! So, either their system needs serious work or their employees are unbelievably slow!! First you wait for the parking tram-in the blazing sun, then you wait to buy tickets-in the blazing sun, then you wait again to get into the park. And just when you think its all done, SURPRISE!! you wait again (in the blazing sun) to get a locker. You can't bring your own food or drink into the park and they make you wait in the worst line of all....OH MY GOD! I felt so bad for the moms who had small children, it was awful! The kids were crying because they were tired of standing and wanted their hot, tired and frustrated moms and dads to pick them up, people started yelling at the employees who were standing around not doing anything, I watched several people walk off in anger saying they were leaving the park all together and besides myself, i heard many, many people say they would not return. Sadly I didn' learn my lesson the first time and since then all i've heard are horror stories. It's not just bad service, its cruelty!

we went on 06/06/2009 and all around the river wading area was animal droppings tons of it.we love this park but the droppings were very bothersome

You could spend all day at this park and not get bored. There are so many different slides and pools to play in and food of all sorts.

Liked the rides a lot. Provided lots of adrenaline, really got your heart pumping. It's a great experience! I really can't wait toride them again!
