Overview
This world-famous attraction is one of Southern California's most popular theme parks. With the most exciting thrill rides around, California residents come here when they want to have fun. Over the years it has evolved. A new park has been added next door - Six Flags Hurricane Harbor - and the two parks together comprise Six Flags California. Magic Mountain bills itself as the "Xtreme Park," with the most roller coasters and adult rides in the region. Of course, there are activities for the less ambitious, but this park is known best for its thrills.Upcoming Events Near Six Flags Magic Mountain

First off, the rollercoasters were unique and fun; perfect for thrill seekers like me. I got to the park about 30 minutes before it opened, and was among the first to get in when it did. I rushed to X2 the ride since I knew there would be a lot of people ... I ended up waiting 2 hours until it broke before ANYBODY could ride it. Several other rides broke down (while I was in line) and everybody was basically told to stay put and wait (indefinitely, since they wouldn't tell us when it would be fixed, even an approximate time) or leave and lose their place in the line. The lines were horrific and food was outrageously expensive (a bottle of Coke was $3.50), not to mention that customer service (or lack thereof) failed miserably. The employees treated people like they couldn't wait to get rid of us, but at the same time loitered around chatting among themselves instead of helping people get in and off the rides. Again, great rides, but not much else.
Pros: Most of the que lines were shaded areas. Great rollar coasters. Cons: Terrible Meothod of queing that took forever. Unfriendly workers. The workers were talking among themselves and were not very timely at all about getting you on and off the ride
Magic Mountain was such a great experience. I got to brag to ALL of my friends about what a great time I had there. It has SO many great roller coasters and so much entertainment. It was like a dream come true. All of my friends and family are dying to go there.I really wish that they were therewith me to share the experience. I would go there all the time if I lived in California. At Magic Mountain, there is so much to do that there isn't ONE thing that you would want to skip.My visit there was the best EVER! Its not something that I can tell people about, It's something that people have to live out. The trip to Magic Mountain leaves me SPEECHLESS!
Best thrills in the W0RLD. Best rides out there! It has many record holders. For example: Tatsu- Fastest, Longest, Tallest Flying Coaster The Riddler's Revenge- Longest Stand-Up Coaster Revolution- Worlds First Looping Coaster It has many kiddie rides ... Live shows... AnD Many M0RE! I'm going again next week
what i like about magic mountain is the rides and the food me and my friends went there last summer and we had a ball we canot wait to go back we just love it in fact we are going agian this summer the only thing i dont like about magic mountain in the summer time is the traffic
First of all, the coupons that the marketing department sent out to businesses is misleading. It states buy one get one free. Each ticket is $29.99 and that's not the case. You don't purchase one ticket for $29.99 and get one free. For 4 tickets you pay $120.00 and not $60.00 Customer service was poor in my opinion. They don't like to accomodate the customers. I visited this theme park to ride certain rides and I don't feel as though I got my monies worth. Most of the rides that I wished to ride were not operable. The log jammer ride and various other rides never opened. There were signs that gave an open time but it never happened. For future reference it would be nice if a list of the rides that weren't operable be posted at the ticket counters. I also noticed that most of you supervisors were in their early 20's and lacked customer service skills. This wasn't a happy adventure.
Magic mountain is a fun place. I love roller coasters so that is why I came. There are a lot of roller coasters and also some smaller carnival-type rides. Some of the more interesting looking rides like X and the Ninja were closed which was disappointing. The Revolution is apparently the oldest or first-made coaster that goes upside down. I've nicknamed it the Concussion, however because it is very bumpy and my head got knocked between the head rest and the 2 side bars that go over your torso. If I kept my head back like the instructions said, it did little to keep my head in place plus it was vibrating so much and the rest was rather hard that it hurt more and started to make me nauseated. After I rode, I understood why there were signs stating to remove ear jewelry and hearing aids. Trust the sign or your earrings will stab you when your head/ears hit the bars! Ok, so that ride was not so comfortable but the others were a lot of fun. I will be coming back here!
The rides can't be beat. The winter hours were too short. You pay the same price for less hours and no entertainment or shows. My 16 year old and her friends loved it!
I love all of the rides at Six Flags. I try to make it there once a year. The only thing I don't like about there is the gang member's hanging around.
