Overview

There are many ventas (roadside restaurants) in town, but this is the best one if you're in the mood for a good paella. If you are planning to come on a weekend, you should book a table beforehand because it usually fills up fast. Venta El Túnel is a very large family restaurant where locals will probably run into friends of theirs enjoying some migas con tropezones (bread crumbs fried in garlic with small pieces of meat) or some pork loin cooked in lard. They have an outside terrace with swings for children and an enormous open area where you can park your car. Their dishes are ridiculously cheap, so this is the perfect place if you want to fill your belly with generous helpings and quality food for a more than reasonable price.
