Paying for Bugsby Yahoo | 2008-12-02 16:46:17 |

We rented a no smoking room but could smell cigar smoke! Also found beetles in the bathroom and the air conditioner never got the room cool enough! Over priced!

My Biggest Disappointment!by Yahoo | 2008-01-07 02:29:36 |

I considered this hotel as the best place to stay when in a hurry, what I mean is, if you need to catch and early fly out of the city. This is a more decent place to stay with the so called 5 star amenities but my September 2007 travel was my biggest disappointment to this hotel. I have been staying this hotel as my lay over for quite some time. I was alone from airport to hotel with my 7 not so big luggages, when I arrived at the hotel, not a bell boy or any staff from the hotel ever DARED to help me unload and carry it inside, NOBODY dared to help me! They only helped me carry my bags to my room when I checked in and they saw from their records that I paid in full and they saw a flash of my credit card as an SOP. When I checked out, they offered help but I refused, the damage has been done. Why help now when I already got my friends who picked me in the hotel for our flights out of the country. Geez! Not worth for the $$$$$ they posted! If you stay here, think again, you'll never wish to end up the same experience as I have plus this hotel needs IMPROVEMENTS in their rooms! Like I said, not worth for the $$$$$

Bugs and No airby Yahoo | 2008-01-02 14:15:13 |

The rooms need to be remodelled. Roaches, and water beetles in the bathrooms with peeling paint. The air didnt work and the room smelled like cigerettes and musty hot air. Beds were floppy and small. You could hear the traffic outside and neighbors next door. Way Expensive for the attitude of the hotel personnel and conditions of the rooms. Wont stay here again!

Awful place to stay for familiesby Yahoo | 2007-12-27 12:47:42 |

My family are like all families. We compromise on what we do when we go on vacation. What we do agree on is that we enjoy down to earth not snotty hotel people, a clean swimming pool, a work out room, and in the room we stay in we expect standard sized beds that are firm, no cigarette smell, a air conditioner that keeps the room cool, a bathroom that has a flushable toilet with good pressure in the shower with a small fridge to keep water or sodas cool. The food in the hotel is not that important but always nice when we find it is eatable. The receptionist had a snotty attitude as she checked us in; While I admit we looked worse for wear, but in our defense we had been traveling for 23 hours, but as the customer she should be trained to ignore looks and remember that we were paying for her services and that meant her politeness. When we got to our rooms we found single beds not standard full size beds which had really really soft mattresses. The room was sticky, couldn’t get it cool and it smelled of cigarettes. The toilet didn’t flush completely and the shower had weak pressure with peeling paint. You could also hear the traffic outside and noise from the neighboring rooms. I would not recommend this hotel!

Over Rated and Over Pricedby Yahoo | 2007-12-21 14:22:16 |

The room was over rated and over priced. The air conditioning never got cool and the room had that odor associated with dirty air circulating and cigarettes; couldn’t open the windows to air the room as the windows were painted shut. The bathroom needs to be overhauled, toilet didn’t flush completely, the shower pressure was weak and the paint was peeling in the bathroom. The beds were on the small size not standard size with soft mattresses. The remote control with the small tv didn’t work well. For a Asian hotel this one was one was the pitts, over priced and over rated! Wont stay here again!

Smellyby Yahoo | 2007-12-20 13:32:54 |

I am a female that was stationed in the Philippines in the 1980’s. I do not consider myself pampered but I expect to get what I pay for in a room. If I pay American prices then I want a clean room with a flushable toilet and hot/cold shower that has good pressure, clean standard size beds, a watchable tv, small fridge and polite hotel personnel. My family (husbands Pinoy) and two daughters and I found this hotel to be WAY below those standards. The beds were twin size and when we tried to get standard size the receptionist informed us that twin size mattresses were standard size. The rooms reeked of smoke. The bathroom showed and smelled of mildew. Basically will not stay in this hotel again.

Bummerby Yahoo | 2007-12-19 16:58:45 |

This hotel smells and it has twin beds. I would not recommend it. Service is a bummer but as a tourist traveling with my family I do not fit in twin beds which the hotel claims is tandard size.

Overratedby Yahoo | 2007-12-18 19:50:04 |

The service and rooms are overrated for the price charged. Beds were twin sized not standard. Disappointing for a family on vacation and being confronted with uppity hotel people.

My husband and I already told our friends, family & co workers to stay at Heritage Hotel the next time they're in Manila.by Yahoo | 2007-11-16 20:30:29 |

We liked Heritage Hotel because they deliver on what they promised on their internet home page. The employees are superb and very caring, from the doorman to the kitchen staff. The hotel security is commendable. If you forget to put away your valuables they will double lock your room from the outside and no one can go inside from the cleaners, including yourself without the floor manager opening the door for you. We also liked the fact that they have a shuttle vehicle to bring you to Mall of Asia. We look forward to our staying there again when we return to Manila.
