Overview

Imelda Marcos' infamous shoes are gone (the 1,500 pairs have been moved to the Marikina Shoe Museum), but there is still plenty to interest the visitor at this museum. Housed in the Kalayaan Building, an annex of the palace proper, the museum displays memorabilia related to the country's past 13 presidents, from Emilio Aguinaldo to Joseph Estrada, along with a collection of photos of old Manila and what is perhaps the musuem's main attraction—an 1898 painting by Filipino master Juan Luna.
