Overview

Master magician Warren Gibson has earned rave reviews from guests around the United States. Now Warren, together with the ghostly piano player Annabelle, is enchanting audiences nightly in downtown Lahaina. The key elements of this spectacular night are delicious Pacific Rim cuisine, a tableside opening act, a comfortably elegant ambiance and, of course, some world-class magic.

A great time!!by Yahoo | 2008-05-26 02:59:04 |

My wife and I went there not sure what to expect. We booked the show as an activity from the cruise we were on. It ended up being the highlight of our trip. The people there go out of their way to make sure you are having a good time. The food was excellent. I would definately go again. That Warren dude is sure funny.

A must see!by Yahoo | 2007-04-01 01:45:23 |

We were guests of friends who live in Maui and have seen this show 8 times. They said it was a must see and IT WAS! If I lived in Maui instead of NYC I too would be there 8 times...it was probably the best live entertainment show I've seen ever! I laughed so much my face hurt as well as my gut. Warren is amazing. The first 1/2 hour in the lounge was a bit hokey, but as soon as you enter Warren's theatre its the best 2 hours you will ever spend anywhere...honeymooners and couples of all ages will enjoy this!!!

Don't miss the best show in Hawaii!by Yahoo | 2006-05-20 12:11:56 |

From the moment you arrive at Warren & Annabelle's, you know you're in for a top quality entertainment experience. My wife and I spent our tenth anniversary in Hawaii and we simply loved this show. A couple of clarifications are in order to help people understand this show: - The use of nicknames in the show is part of the comedic theming and is not insulting in the least. Everyone in our audience was rolling in laughter and the nicknamed people were having the best time of all. - Everyone's borrowed items were returned in the same condition in which they were *voluntarily* loaned. - The hostesses asked people whether they wanted to sit in the front row; people who had an objection to participating were given the opportunity to sit elsewhere. This show is charming, polite, and hilariously funny. Food was okay -- drinks were fine and were not skimpy at all. The magic is also very good, with several personalized presentations of some classics -- all done with great humor and the utmost respect for the audience. It sounds like some folks have an axe to grind against magic in general or Warren in particular, but the fact is that this is one of the most delightful evenings to be spent ANYWHERE, not just in Maui. If you are on the island and miss this show, you will regret it. It is a fantastic evening done with style and charm. Have a great time!

can't wait to see it again!by Yahoo | 2005-10-18 04:06:27 |

we had one of the best nights on our trip to Maui. It's sad we have been there probably 8 times to Maui, but the last trip was the first time we heard about the show. Told our friends who are going with us on the next trip that they have to see this show.

What you've likely read is hype. SKIP IT!!by Yahoo | 2005-03-25 18:30:41 |

I attended this show while visiting Maui in March of 2005. I read all of the reviews in the popular guidebooks and thought it was something we simply could not miss. WRONG. Here's what the guidebooks don't tell you about Warren's show. DO NOT under any circumstances sit in his front row unless you want to be heckled, harrassed, and/or humuliated. For me, I don't mind paying admission, but I do so to remain a spectator, not become part of Warren's hack comedy act which relies on insulting his guests for a few cheap diversionary laughs. A few things I witnessed: using a permanent marker on a lady's hands (making large L's and R's without her permission), insulting his guests with demeaning references and nicknames (ie. Goober, Opie, etc), borrowing items and returning them damaged/dirty. Some poor guy actually just got married and lended Warren his ring for part of the show...big mistake. I could see him trying to remove the caked on wax after he received it back. I would have been furious. Also, Warren claims this show to be family friendly. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Although it is true he does not swear, he does tend to make very graphic references to genetalia when it suits his comedy. So, although you won't hear any effenheimers, he will likely comment extensively about his fascination with the male penis. The food....yes, I will have to admit that the appetizers are fairly good. But, at the price they charge for them....major rip off!! I would expect something more substantial. You will do well to eat a light dinner BEFORE you arrive. And, don't count on having decent drinks. They are watered down, and often very skimpy in volume, especially if the poor impersonation of Lizza Minelli delivers them to you!! If she is your waitress, count on getting about 1/2 of a drink for every one others receive. Being your waitress is not her primary objective, trust me. And, I send my deepest sympathies to the actual Lizza Minelli. So what's left? The magic...it will likely be the single biggest let down of the evening. Although Warren is a stud at card shuffling, his magic is...well it's amateur hour quality. If you really want to be fooled, you will have a great time. But, if you really want to be astonished, stick to looking at prices in South Maui resort dinner menus. I'm sorry Warren, but turning the lights off in the theatre during your act...please don't continue to insult your audience like that. That's just lame. Sum total, you can have a great time in Maui doing something else. Warren's show is just not worth the effort. Trust me. I'm just surprised he doesn't call each of his guests a sucker as they walk out the door.

Warren and Annabelleby Yahoo | 2004-09-13 21:24:12 |

Man - what a hoot. The "Annabelle" part of the show (Annabelle is a ghost that plays piano) is pretty cheesey, but Warren's magic act is great. Warren's a good ol' boy with an excellent sense of humor. I laughed so hard I damn near wet myself. Don't miss it.

Warren & Annabelle's is well worth itby Yahoo | 2004-08-22 16:02:20 |

This is the funniest couple of hours of entertainment that you can have. By the end, I had tears coming from my eyes. And for the price, it was well worth it.
