Overview

This restaurant has enjoyed a long tradition in the area of San Angel in the south of the city. It is situated in a Colonial hacienda, and its varied menu continues to make it a choice spot for dining. It is ideal for both families and businesspersons. House specialties include Crepas de Huitlacoche (crepes filled with corn truffle), Chiles Rellenos (poblano peppers stuffed with cheese and ground beef, Robalo a la Veracruzana (filet of sea bass with green olives, tomatoes and vegetables). Wandering musical trios add to the ambiance. This restaurant was the winner of a Dirona Award.

Terrible Management!!by Yahoo | 2010-01-04 17:04:28 |

Me and my family have been going to Disney every year for Christmas for the past 16 years and this was by far the worst experience ever the management actually called security because we were questioning the bill food portions are tiny and price is very expensive

well below disney standardsby Yahoo | 2008-04-14 17:44:33 |

To Whom It May Concern, I Am Writing You Concerning My March 20-25th Disney World Vacation. It Fell Short Of Disney Standards And What I Believe Is The Excellence Disney Stands For. My Family Are 7 Time Disney Veterans And Will Be Writing A Letter To This As Well. This Was My Very First Visit To Walt Disney World And Expected Much More Of A Positive Experience. To Be Specific. On Day 2 Of My Vacation We Went To Epcot And Had Dinner Reservations At The San Angel In Mexico. We Had Just Been Seated And Drinks Ordered By My Sister And Brother In Law (1 Reg And 1 Strawberry Margarita) And Sodas For Myself And The 2 Children. The Waiter Was Less Than Friendly And When He Brought The Drinks To The Table He Spilled The Entire Tray Of All The Drinks On My Lap Soaking My Shirt, Shorts, Socks, And Shoes With Alcohol, Red Grenadine And Soda. Not To Mention Being Frozen Drinks And The Shock Of That. No Apology Was Made By The Waiter (Valdo). All He Said Was I Will Bring You Another Margarita. He Then Neglected To Have Anyone Clean Our Area Right Away Except For A Young Lady From The Restaurant Using Paper Napkins To Try And Sop Up This Mess. My Brother In Law And I Had To Stand For At Least 15- 20 Minutes Until The Mess Was Finally Cleaned Up But Still Extremely Sticky. No Apologies Were Made. The Sodas Were Not Replaced Until I Had To Ask For Them. I Remained Soaked With Alcohol And Soda. A Neighboring Patron Then Approached Us And Stated That A Waitress Just Dumped And Entire Tray Of Drinks On Their 5 Year Old Daughter Ruining Her Outfit And They Had To Go Out And Buy Her New Clothes. Not One Manager Responded To Either Of Our Problems. We Did Stay And Eat Expecting The Management To Take Some Sort Of Action By The End Of Our Stay. Nothing Was Done. Not An Adjustment On The Check Or Even An Acknowledgement That The Restaurant Management Showed Responsibility For. We Were Disgusted By This Lack Of Hospitality. I Remained Soaked For The Rest Of The Evening Smelling Of Alcohol Which I Find Disgusting. My Shorts, Shirt Were Stained Which I Have Not Been Able To Get Out And My 130 Dollar Running Shoes Were Red Stained And Remain So Now. Needless To Say I Feel That This Fell Way Short Of Disney Standards And Feel That Something Should Be Done To Remedy This Situation.

what a disapointmentby Yahoo | 2008-03-02 22:27:13 |

we went to the inn, searching a place to celebrate our wedding with friends. The food was really second class, the coffee we took to end the meal did't taste as coffee at all ( 65 pesos). It is a real nice place, but the quality of the food was not much better than any cheap restaurant in Europe. when we left, we left like beeing robbed, a real bad experience. peter van veen

Don't miss the experienceby Yahoo | 2005-04-26 00:19:54 |

How could you go to Mexico City and not visit the Inn. We had dinner on our honeymoon, 25th anniv and our 50th anniv. Without a doubt on of the most elegant dinning experiences to be had in Mexico.

Dont miss itby Yahoo | 2005-03-01 15:11:47 |
