Loyal fans of the University of Miami's football team, the Hurricanes, flock to the Orange Bowl to cheer for the city's most promising athletes. Aside from the athletic realm, UM offers academic excellence at the undergraduate and graduate level. Established in 1925, the private university offers schools of medicine, law, music, marine studies, and more. The main campus is conveniently situated in Coral Gables, close enough to Coconut Grove for students to enjoy the nightlife.
My son attends this school and he loves it. The school has excellent academics, great weather, gorgeous campus and lots to do right nearby. What more could you ask for? A diverse school body too, kids from all over the world. I am happy to give this wonderful experience to my child despite the high price tag. It's nothing they would get at a state school.
We visited the University this year. I loved the place. The tuition is another thing. The price of an education at this university is on par with the price of a condo or small house. 31,000 per year... That is way too much...try a state school.
Great campus, great people, great school, great library, great gift shop, great everything! Guzman Hall is incredible! With amazing talents always performing there. Great sound in there too. My only complaints: parking feels tight and the cafeteria should be cleaned up a bit.
