Overview

This little bar is known locally as the Paint Store. One look at the outside brick wall and you will know why. Remnants of its former life are the main decoration, which make it a pretty colorful place. Challenge friends to numerous games such as classic dome hockey, air bowling (you throw a puck-shaped piece of plastic at the pins), pool on two tables and touch-screen trivia. During the warm summer months, soak up the sunshine at the tables set up outside while you enjoy a frosty beer or cocktail. Pizza is the only food available, but for a frozen pizza, it is pretty tasty.

looking forward to going backby Yahoo | 2008-05-11 17:54:55 |

It is probably one of the best sports bars in the country. That is if you like sports bars. All the mixalogists are more than just pretty. If you don't know that you just have not taken the time to talk any of them. You have to look past some of the nick names, like Bucket Head. I have lived in Las Vegas for the last 16 years and look forward to stopping in at AL'S everytime I am in town. Even if it is to make sure my name is still on the bar.

Best Bar in St. Paulby Yahoo | 2007-03-04 21:14:25 |

It's a wonderfully friendly place that I visit every time I am in the Twin Cities. Friendly staff that works hard, good people. I will continue to "Patronage" as long as I make my yearly trek to St. Paul!!

Prior to moving to Texas I was a regular at Alary's. I truely miss the place and visit every time I am in town.

Get out of there!by Yahoo | 2005-02-11 14:44:28 |

I think that this place is disqusting. The women look cheap and easy, the atmosphere a disaster, and believe me the reputation tarnished. I will never patronage again. Any bar willing to stay open until 3 or 4 am should be permanently closed.
