Overview
Located on a beautiful island in the St. Lawrence River, this gaming house is for both tuxedoed high rollers and ordinary (but dolled-up) housewives out for an evening of fun. The ambience is classy and the dress code calls for good taste. Aside from the normal games of chance, the casino also features a Vegas-style cabaret, boutique, and complete banking services. There is a non-smoking section, a training or practice table for those just learning and complimentary drinks. You must be 18 to enter.Upcoming Events Near Casino de Montréal

The building is cool, modern, and clean. No slot machine noise, and no smoking indoor. That makes it a very nice place to go and stay for hours. The restaurants there are very good too. The buffet in Friday night is all sea-food. The choices of food are not very broad, but very good.
The casino is lavishly designed and is well fit into the beautiful architecture of the former montreal/quebec expo of the '67 expo. the dining and gaming is a great experience, for quite good value particularly their buffet on the 5th floor. Waits for games such as blackjack were somewhat annoying and could be remedied by opening more tables, but for the most part ease of play was fine. staff were friendly, curtious and helpful in explaining the process. overall a great place to get a drink, eat and play some games surrounded by a beautiful environment.
Went on a long weekend to Montreal. Casino was OK, but VERY crowded (weekend night, and confusing floor plan). I wanted to play Blackjack, but no tables had a space open. We noticed a number of empty tables, but the casino management refused to open any, even though there were players 3 deep at each table waiting for an opening. Also, the restaurants close EARLY...strange, other casinos I've been to have them open 24 hours...but there is a 24 hour snack bar... Regarding the other reviewer's comment about Montreal having it over NYC...You gotta be kidding! NYC ROCKS!
It was a fun experience. The people were friendly but the food was expensive! The slots let you play awhile before they took all your money!
The Montreal Casino...built by the government with tax payer money...Quebec residents are still wondering where is all the profit money going???? Too bad suckas...
For those who want to go somewhere diff. and fun, Montreal is it. No 2 ways about it. I have been to every major city in North America. Montreal is THE BEST (Sorry NYC but it is true). Great food, awesome bars, delectable women, nice casino. Nuff said
