The active Volcano has provided both a challenge and an opportunity for tourism here in Montserrat. The Board can advsie you on activities such as hiking, diving, eating and drinking, cultural events, viewing the volcanic devastation from a safe distance, and exploring the safe northern area. Their attractive brochure, Holiday Montserrat, has sections on history, getting around, the volcano, sightseeing in the northern area, coral reef life, music, culture, education and more. The Board shares premises with the Montserrat National Trust, so you can make two visits in one, and visit the Trust's informative, new Natural History Centre.
