Overview
With 30 rides in a 20-acre park, you're in for a very wet, fun day. More adventurous slides include the 10-story Turbo-Twisters and the Pipeline Plunge. For the more sedate, there is the LayZee River and the Ocean in Motion. Admission includes all day rides, optional life vest, free parking, tubes, showers and changing facilities. Special discounts for groups. Admission fees are $24.95 for 7-54yrs, $14 for 3-6yrs and 55yrs and above. Admission for children younger than 3yrs is free. This place didnt have enough slides. The turbo twisters made my nuts go into my throat!!! I would go back.
The 200 lb weight max must be new. I've gone to myrtle waves for years and I've weighed from 275 to 315 and the've never said anything to me.
The only thing I could do was the lasy river. They have a weight limit up to 200 lbs on all rides..... They dont tell you that until you wait at the top of the ride when you are about to go down the slide!!!
This place was a blast the kids and adults loved it it is well worth the $ Have Fun There was something for every age at this park. We will probably go back again this summer while visiting MB.
We spent out last day of vacation here at the water park. Each year it gets better. Free drinks and free sun screen- great idea. The music is good, the park is clean, the lines are fast moving and the staff is alert and professional. This is fun for the entire family. Soemthing to do regardless of age or skill level! We will return year after year!
The Arooba tooba was fun. The free soft drinks were a plus. But for $140.00 for our family of five I wish there was more. Now what we should've done was wait until 3pm and the prices are dropped by $10.00 a person. We only stayed about 3 hours, but my feet were hurting 5 mins into it from being burned on the "HOT" cement and climbing rough steps. I think they need to figure out a way to keep the cement cool, like small sprinkler systems? we went to Alligator Adventure, paid less and my kids had more fun there.
This water park is nothing like six flags or disney. Its much smaller but they have alot of things to do. The lines are not long at all,and if the lines were a bit long it always moved quick. Also a plus for this water park was they give you free soda and sunscreen which is a nice personal touch. A great experience and i would love to go again.
We had a great time at Myrtle Waves. There was something for both of my kids to do there. The kiddie poole was excellent for my toddler. The water slides were great and some were even appropiate for my 4 year old to ride on. They even had free unlimited soft drinks. Admission is pricey, but we received 3 free tickets from previewing a Sheraton timeshare. Prices also drop after 3 pm.
We went to Myrtle Waves on the first Monday of the summer season. It was wonderful. Are children raged from 2-16 and there was something for everyone. It wasn
Our whole family had a blast! It had something for all ages. The only thing that could have been better was the cost for everything. It was a little expensive, but it was completly worth it in the end! We had so much fun that we are going back for another round of fun for vacation! The water rides were awesome and the faculty members were so nice! We had a blast at Myrtle Waves Water Park!
