Overview

Capri is one of the most famous and celebrated Italian islands in the world, noted for its extraordinary natural beauty, splendid panorama, azure grotto and mild climate. Capri is without doubt one of the most sought after destinations among the international jet-setters. Rich in history, the island welcomes to its lush beauty, those who love luxury and a worldly lifestyle, and has a first rate range of hotels, all of them luxurious and immersed in enchanting scenery. There are also many restaurants offering typical Mediterranean cuisine. The island is easily reachable by daily, regular boat launches that depart from Beverollo dock in Napoli.

Amazing place but watch the pricesby Yahoo | 2008-11-15 20:00:33 |

This is an amazing place with great food, views, ect. However you should be prepared to pay sky high prices for pretty much everything. Still if you are willing to put up with that you will have a great time there.

What Gorgeous Views!!by Yahoo | 2007-10-24 20:30:44 |

The isle has the most awesome views from the drive up to Anacapri. As for as atmosphere, it is a tourist mecca and should be considered as such. In Capri (town) there are numerous designer shops and cafes. I purchased perfume from a perfume shop, the one I chose was "Flowers of Capri", wonderful smell. Also, try the lemoncello (served from the freezer in a small shot glass). Will certainly go back for the scenery and the gelato.

The island is so beautiful, clean, clear blue waters but so expensive! I highly recommend see this amazin place, but going just for a day. If you are staying around the naples area leave early in the morning and just make it a day trip. It is just not necessary to stay longer then a day and this way you will save a ton of money!

Capri come on!by Yahoo | 2006-02-11 06:17:31 |

Overpriced. Ischia is better, plus you can do more goofing off. Mopeds and stuff. See Capri and leave. Stay at Ischia, the place is cheaper and thus enabling you to do more.

To get engaged!by Yahoo | 2005-04-08 03:31:22 |

Of course, I love anything in Italy. This is truly so romantic. We walked so far away from the tourist area. We dined on the beach. We watched the beautiful sail boats coming and going. It was so quiet. The shops were not as expensive as Roma. There wasn't the "attitude". The beauty and the ambiance make Capri the place to "pop the question".

It's okby Yahoo | 2004-12-18 21:02:49 |

Expect to pay top money for this trip --nothing is cheap on the island. Usually you have to fight crowds as well. Be prepared.
