Overview

Christmas Village at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds is one of the city's oldest holiday traditions. Held each year during the second weekend of November, the village hosts more than 200 local businesses selling wares. From gourmet food to home accessories, virtually every product and service offered in the city is on display. The three-day event draws nearly 30,000 visitors, and the proceeds benefit local philanthropic organizations.

My daughter and I make this our annual "Mother-Daughter" outing. We drive down from Campbellsville, Ky. and spend 2 nights at the Airport Marriot. The Christmas Village has something for everyone and most items are priced very reasonable. The only complaint we have is the parking. Even with a Handicap Parking Permit it is a task to find a parking place. They seem to cater to the Exhibitors rather than the visitors. I have a very hard time walking very far and much of the parking is downhill from the entrance. I would recomend the Christmas Village to everyone!
