Heath Hazard!by Yahoo | 2006-07-13 17:45:45 |

Nashville Shores was too crowded with too few lifegaurds on duty. After being there a short time a worker came up and explained that if we wanted to ride on any of the slides we'd better hurry as a group of 2500 people would be arriving on busses shortly. It was ALREADY too crowded. BUT THE WORST part was watching several babies under about a year old in the baby pool with NO DIAPERS and no one from the park even noticed. When I complained about this and explained that there appeared to be fecal matter in the pool were these babies had been playing and that the adults with these babies suddenly left the park - the management (and I use this term lightly as they all seemed soooo young) said they didn't see anything by the time they got to the pool and anyway "the pool skimmers would take care of it". They even threatened to throw me out of the park if I told anyone what I had seen!

Fond Memoriesby Yahoo | 2005-09-21 16:01:49 |

My husband and I took the children to hear the Beach Boys in Concert; supposedly to share our music with them but more to enjoy it ourselves on a nostalgic trip to our youth. The day was sunny, but not too hot, crowded with lots of "us" and enough of the young people to make it more fun. We were close to the beach and got an occasional breeze of Percy Priest reservoir. We lazed on our blanket, listened to the music, and when it came time to pack up, there wasn't the enormous jam at the gates to leave.
