Overview
The staff is the coolest and they get you in the right mood. They had great music and games. If you want to party and have fun...this is something to do. There's a snorkeling stop too...
Everyone is very nice, snorkling was awesome, beach time was too short, food was good, drinks were strong, and the DJ is the life of the party! Dj Slick Rick is incredible!!
had the time of my life on the booze cruise.Met a lot of people on the cruise.First I was hesitate to go on it,but I'm glad I went on it.Can't wait to go back on it when I come back to the Bahamas.Never a dull moment. The host were excellent and fun. It's a 10+ for me.
I loved snorkeling, it was fun! They threw food in so that the fish could swim up to the top. We only paid $55 for this package. You get to drink all you want, the legal age limit was 18 so I was able to join in....I got a little too drunk but it was fun once I got off the boat I felt sick...You get to dance on the top of the boat, they take you to a small island it doesn't look all that nice but it was okay. I miss the Bahamas so much, it was kinda sad going from vacation and then right after I get back I go to school.
My girlfriends and I went to Nassau in May just as final exams finshed. Our first day there we chose to go on the booze cruise! Let me tell you, how that was the MOST fun we had there the entire time. We got to dance, get tipsy, and meet other tourists from all over the world. Also, snorkeling and jet sking at the private beach were a lot of fun. The staff was great and even remembered us as we lounged on the beach days after. They were very nice and the booze cruise made us quite popular in Nassau. Dozens of people approached us and mentioned that they were on the cruise at the same time as us! You should DEFINITELY go on this wild adventure if you are looking for a good time out in the sun ;)
Did this on 4th of July, thought it was great. We got picked up at the Straw Market/Senor Frog's area, had one more pickup spot. They wouldn't let you drink before snorkeling if you planned on snorkeling. Had a decent meal, snorkeling was excellent, all the drinks you could handle, and a very lively dj who kept things hopping, especially once the rum kicked in! This is a much more active cruise than the Yellowbird.
This was one of the best things I did in the Bahamas!! It was a great time with my family! Next year when I go back in June that will be one of the first things I will do and this next time that I am going, iam going to go 2 times! The people that were on there were really nice I got to know some of them! I can't wait until next year when I go again! It was really fun!
First of all, Everett was the company rep and did not return the change from the deposit he owed us. When we got to the site to board the boat, (1 hour later than promised) the reps would not give us the change either. Second, there is no glass bottom boat. There's a little squared off section with rails around it, maybe 6 ft. in size, and you look down into the bottom of the boat and hope you see something. We were promised all the food you can eat, and got in return fried rice with beans, one chicken drumstick, one little piece of ribs - that's it. No burgers, dogs or coleslaw as promised. We spent 45 minutes snorkeling and 45 minutes on the beach. The rest of the time was on a SLOW, boat ride back (1 hour later than promised). This was all in all, a waste of our time and money. Spare yourself the ordeal unless you're a drunken teenager with low expectations.
This place was amazing. We got to see the fish up close while snorkling. It was a really fun tie for me and my wife. This was our trip for our honeymoon. Afterwards we hit the drinks pretty hard and had a blast. I would reccomend this place to anyone!!!
I frequent the Bahamas and go on the Booze and Cruise each time (My first time in Nassau, my girlfriend and I went 2 times during our 3 day trip). Even if you don't like to drink, watching all of the drunk people is a lot of fun. The snorkeling, at a national reserve, is nice and the staff really do have your safety in mind. I watched the captain jump off the top deck because someone yelled help (of course that person couldn't swim and they tell you not to go in if you can't swim). The food is tasty, yes sometimes cold, but still tasty. The drinks are strong and the ladies at the all inclusive bar are great. The upper deck has a reasonably priced beer bar. The music is great. DJ Slick Rick is awesome and really knows how to play for a crowd, playing music for everybody. DJ Leo is somewhat obnoxious because he loves the mic, but he's cool. One the island, be sure to get a pina colada in a coconut from CoCo and some conch salad from Fred. They are not part of the cruise staff, but typically show up when the boat is parked on the beach - yes the boat pulls right up on the beach. Same thing for the jet skis, not part of the boat, but if you negotiate with them you can get a good price. Contrary to the other reviews, you don't spend half the time picking up other guests. The cruise from Cable Beach to downtown is nice and relaxing and the captain narrates the tour from downtown to the last stop (Paradise Island Harbour Resort - see Ricardo, one of the activities staff at the hotel to buy B&C tickets). That takes one hour, but don't forget the stops are one the way to the snorkeling site.
