Overview
The Beacon Theatre looks like a modern box office from the outside, but it was actually built in 1928. It is not only a movie theater, but a venue for musical events and seminars. This 2800-seater concert and early movie palace has played host to the who's who of the musical world. The ornate neo-Grecian interior features thirty-foot-tall Greek goddesses flanking the proscenium arch of its curtainless stage, which rises from the basement level and carries a full classical orchestra. Exquisite details abound throughout, including polished hardwood and terra cotta moldings, brass staircase rails, and corridor murals depicting Eastern scenes of trading caravans with elephants, camels and other animals.Upcoming Events Near Beacon Theatre

Great Small Music Venue
Old time theatre look - Used to be a Movie house. Great acoustics. Some excellent names play here- MSG is not worth it - But just about every seat in the house is great.
