During the 1920s, Oak Room Supper Club, the well-appointed lounge and cabaret was the famed gathering place of New York's literary trend-setters, known as the Algonquin Roundtable. Dorothy Parker and her friends are now just a memory, but the Oak Room Cbaret does host excellent musical acts and caters to a mature, sophisticated crowd. On nights when there is a show it can be quite expensive. Star performers like Harry Connick Jr, Michael Feinstein, Diana Krall, Peter Cincotti, and others have graced this venue.
